Sports Super Eagles will qualify for the AFCON finals in Morocco- Efe Ambrose

Nigeria and Celtic of Scotland defender, Efe Ambrose has said that he was thankful to God the Super Eagles did not lose Wednesday’s AFCON 2015 tie against Bafana Bafana of South Africa.

He explained that though the game was tough, players are happy the game was better that last Saturday's 3-2 loss to Congo in Calabar.

The Eagles defender said that the players have vowed that they would do everything possible to make it to the Nations Cup finals, which will be staged next year in Morocco.

“It was a very difficult game and not what we expected but we give God the glory for the draw we got in the match”, the former Kaduna United wing-back admitted.

“Every nation is trying to battle with the giant of Africa and we know it’s not easy but at the same time, we will give them a very good fight and we’ll continue to show improvement in our team,” he added.

He said he understood that every nation of the continent want to beat Nigeria, but that they will continue to improve on their game per match. Fcnaija
