Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal on Tuesday held a secret meeting with undisclosed agenda at the former President's Hilltop home in Abeokuta, Ogun State; PUNCH reported.
The Meeting didn't last up to an hour. Tambuwal arrived Obasanjo's home around 5.30pm, left around 6.18pm.
When contacted to spill details of the meeting, Mr. Imam Imam, Tambuwal's media aide said, "You know Baba is father to all in the country. The visit was a consultation. It is about rubbing minds on how to move the country forward and make Nigeria better".
On speculations that the meeting was linked to Tambuwal's presidential ambition, the media aide said,"I can’t say anything on that because it was a closed door meeting. About the presidential ambition, that also I cannot comment on. Let’s wait till 2015 and then we will address that".
