Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal shall continue to remain a Speaker of the House of Representatives despite the developments involving the speaker says the Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Rep. Victor Ogene, while addressing correspondents.

Concerning the present issue of leadership in the House of Representatives, Ogene, representing APGA-Anambra had said that unless the All Progressives Congress (APC) could garner up to 181 members, there would be no reason to be concerned over the said leadership.

He said, "There is no cause for alarm. The leadership of the House is intact and until a particular political party has up to 181 members before you start talking of change in leadership."
