Two persons were on Monday morning reportedly killed in a multiple accident involving the convoy of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Aminu Tambuwal along the ever-busy Ali Akilu road in Kaduna.
According to Leadership, the convoy was coming out from Deluxe Suites, and zoomed into the road in an attempt to stop other vehicles to make way for the Speaker’s vehicle.
However, a commercial bus, in order to avoid collision with the Speaker’s convoy, stopped abruptly, causing other vehicles to ram into each other.
A Toyota Hiace with registration number XA 657 PAK in the course of the crash, rammed into a fence, killing two passengers, a woman and a man.
