A teacher in South Africa has allegedly beaten a 16-year old student to death for apparently making a noise during a lesson.
The teacher, who may be charged with murder, allegedly beat the student around the head with a belt, police say.
The incident left Sizwe Kubheka, 16, deaf and with a badly swollen face, his mother told the local Star newspaper. He was taken to hospital where he later died.
