Following the increasing level of insecurity in the North, scores of employees of the National Youth Service Corps in the southern part of the country have expressed dissatisfaction over the decision of the NYSC authorities to organise their promotion examination in Kaduna State.
The affected NYSC employees, who are mainly mid-level officers between Levels 09 and 10, had maintained that it was unfair for the NYSC management to expect them to travel from the southern part of the country to the North for the promotion exam.
The promotion exam, according to the NYSC workers, is billed for April 15, 2014, at Rimi College, Tafawa Balewa Road, Kaduna, even with a curfew in force in Kafanchan area of the state.
