Buhari spent two years in prison and this ruined his first marriage to Safinatu.

Buhari and Hajia Safinatu were married in 1971 and they were blessed with five children: four girls and a boy.

However, upon Buhari’s release from a jail Safinatu divorced him as she was reported to had been desolated over his imprisonment.

While Sambo Dasuki is being Prosecuted by Muhammadu Buhari over alleged Fraud and Embezzlement of Funds Meant for Procurement of Arms during the last Administration.

From the developments on the Dasuki trial it seems Buhari has vowed to jail Dasuki as a payback for the pains he went through in the hands of Dusuki and his principal IBB.

Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic P in latest release criticized President Buhari for punishing Ex-NSa boss because he is eyeing the presidency seat.

One is surprised at the way this article is presented. The Nigerian Bulletin does not seem to be professional in their presentation. What is the relevance of the arrest of Major General Muhammad Buhari in 1985 with the ongoing investigation into the way funds for the purchase of arms were 'legally' shared. Is it a lie that monies were wrongly shared? Sambo Dasuki was in 1985 carrying out an order which he cannot refused. Muhammad Buhari in 2015 is fulfilling his duties as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, so what is or where is a clash in the way the two duties are carried out? Should Dasuki refused the order, or should Buhari abandoned his constitutional duties as the President? The thinking that Dasuki will in 2019 be the pdp presidential candidate is too say the least crazy. Does pdp thinks that the Nigerian people are idiots to allow a suspected thief to be their president? God forbids bad thing.

I beg to disagree Sir. I believe Nigerian Bulletin have been professional. They never said Dasuki was innocent. In fact, the reason for him being prosecuted was expressly stated. They are journalists so they are trying to cover all angles.

But whether PDP likes it or not, whether Nigerian Bulletin likes it or not, Dasuki would pay for his crimes and sent to jail.

What Malam said was right, the case of PMB arrest in 1985 by Dasuki has nothing to do with the current illegal arms deal. The cases are liken to two parallel lines. "Should Dasuki refuse his boos order (IBB) or should PMB derail from fulfilling his mandate as the president in stopping corruption? "

But from what I read, no where were both incidents linked.

Hello Mallam, You may need to take a look at the headline again. It is a throwback on how Dasuki arrested and ruined buhari. And so the article/news doesn't necessarily need to relate with the on-going trial of Dasuki. I believe the intention of the reporter of this news is to inform the public of the arrest of Buhari by Dasuki and not Dasuki's current travail.
Just my opinion, tho.
