Sports Too hot: Ronaldo nets a hat-trick in Real Madrid's 8-2 win over Deportivo

Real Madrid produced a masterclass performance as they completely blew away Deportivo La Coruna in a convincing 8-2 victory.

It was a spectacular display from Carlo Ancelotti's team who have now secured their second win of the season.

Cristiano Ronaldo put aside every talks of discontent at Real Madrid,helping his team with a hat-trick that ignited the onslaught for his side.

Three goals in the first half from Real ensured that they were out of sight going into the break.

Haris Medunjanin scored from the spot six minutes after the break to pull one back for Deportivo,but it was from then that Madrid starting becoming imperious,hitting in five in the second half.

Ronaldo might have gotten three goals on the day,but two braces each from Gareth Bale and Javier Hernandez ensured that it was a cricket score for the visitors.

James Rodriguez was also amongst the goals,netting his team's second goal when he found the net in the 36th minute.

With Barcelona yet to play,it was a perfect opportunity for Real to close the gap and they made it count with a good win.
