What could have been a major tragedy was, on Friday, averted when two tankers laden with fuel went up in flames in Lagos.
The incident, which occurred at Ikorodu area of the state, caused panic among residents and roadside traders close by, many of whom, it was gathered, left their wares and ran for their lives for fear that the fire could become uncontrollable.
