- Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel, 31, looks set to join Turkish side Fenerbahce for £5m after a fee was agreed between the clubs. (Daily Telegraph)

- Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is eyeing a £14 million move for Celta Vigo star Nolito, who he worked with at Barcelona. (The Sun)

- Manchester United have had a £19 million bid for Henrikh Mkhitaryan rejected and Borussia Dortmund are determined not to sell the midfielder after losing Mats Hummels and Ilkay Gundogan. (Daily Mirror)

- Roma join Milan and Juventus in the race to sign Mateo Kovavic. Roma want Real Madrid midfileder to substitute Pjanic, who signed with Juventus. (Gazzetta dello Sport)

- An investment group supported by the Chinese government is attempting to buy Liverpool for £700m. (Independent)
