The State Election Petition Tribunal in Abeokuta, Ogun state has struck out the petition of Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate thereby confirming Governor Ibikunle Amosun’s victory in the last Gubernatorial election in the state.
Chairman of the three man panel, Justice Henry Olusiyi while delivering his ruling on Friday, 23 October said the petition of Isiaka and the PDP lacked merit.
The tribunal faulted the petitioners for not proving their case beyond reasonable doubt, adding that, the petitioners failed to satisfy the tribunal with evidences that could convince it.
