Metro Two Blind Men in Court over Seduction Case

A blind man, Shaibu Ibrahim, 26, on Tuesday took Shehu Sarki, another blind man to court in Nasarawa State on account of seducing his wife.

The offence was said to have violated Section 389 of the Penal Code, and if found guilty, the accused could spend two years in prison.

The accused, is the chairman of the blind peoples’ association and also a friend to Ibrahim who had earlier brought the lady in question for him to marry. However, he pleaded not guilty to the charges levied against him.

The ruling judge, Mr Albert Maga, gave the accused person bail in the sum of N20, 000 and a surety in like sum. He adjourned the case till September 9 for hearing.
