Entertainment U2, Apple subjected to Mockery over Free iTunes Album

U2, one of the biggest musical bands in the world and Apple Inc.; American multinational corporation that designs, develops, and sells consumer electronics have been mocked for ‘forcing’ U2's 13th album titled 'Songs Of Innocence' on 500million iTunes users.

Given it's popularity and reputation, U2 might have thought music fans would be happy to receive their new album for free but the complete reverse proved to be the case. One unimpressed user tweeted: "Shame on you U2..." while some other users have gone as far as requesting to give it back.

While response from the general iTunes user may not be too warm, music critics have been more favourable towards Bono and Co, with the album receiving mostly glowing reviews.
