Uber Founder, Travis Kalanick has resigned as chief executive officer.

Kalanick's resignation comes after a months-long investigation led former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, after a female former employee publicly accused the company of what she described as brazen sexual harassment.

Kalanick will remain on the board of the firm, however, the New York Times said.
