Politics Urhobo Group Calls For New Delta State

Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF, has called for the creation of a new Delta state to be made up from the current Delta Central and Delta South senatorial districts, as recommended by the 2014 National Conference.

The Vanguard newspaper reports this was a decision reached at a meeting in Agbarho, Ughelli North Local Government.

We support the creation of more states, especially New Delta State, to encompass the present Delta Central and Delta South senatorial zones as recommended by the 2014 National Conference.
