Nigeria's Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu during plenary on Thursday questioned President Muhammadu Buhari's authority to send Nigerian military troops to help oust President Yahaya Jammeh of Gambia out of office.

Ekweremadu has been so much much against military option in Gambia. But he and his colleagues failed to reach out to persuade the Gambian Senate, more or less the only institution that aided Jammeh in his sit tight syndrome.
