According to the original posting on YouTube this all escalated from a road accident.

A small quarrel after a vehicular accident escalates into a bloody fight with the local bike gang in which Mansur, a Nigerian student was beaten with a combination of weapons from nightsticks to bike helmets. Racism in the world is currently on the rise with the Ferguson riots and it seems to has spread to other areas of the world including Malaysia, a country known for its multicultural identity.

A note to Nigerians to stop the infighting:
Not sure what the full story is but time for Nigerians to wake up and also stop the tribalism nonsense at home. If you are a tribalist/racist at home and look at others like dirt, when you go abroad you will also be treated like dirt.
