Sports Vincent Enyeama wants 2015 Nations Cup to be postponed because of Ebola

Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has joined the bandwagon of those who wants the the 2015 African Nations Cup tournament to be postponed.

Morocco has requested that the Confederation of African (CAF) delays the tournament because of the outbreak of Ebola Virus on the continent.

There are fears that fans who will be coming from Ebola stricken nations, could transmit the disease to others.

Morocco is considering withdrawing from hosting the tournament if CAF does not yield to its demands, with countries like Ghana placed on standby to replace them.

”I really wish it doesn't happen (AFCON) with all the people that will be moving around," Enyeama said.

“But I'm not CAF. I'm not the one who calls the shots.”

Enyeama said that players are at risk if the tournament goes on, however he admitted that he would still play nevertheless.

“It's risky for everyone because you go to Africa and then everyone is hugging you and shaking you, and what can you do? You're at risk,” he admitted.

“But if it happens I will play, if we qualify.”
