The Nasarawa State House of Assembly, yesterday, said that it would continue with the impeachment processes against Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura despite demonstrations by some paid agents.
The chairman of the House Committee on Information, Baba Ibaku, told Vanguard on telephone that the impeachment would be carried out so that the world would not see the legislators as liars, pointing out that those demostrating over the matter were merely sending the governor off.
He spoke even as all the members have relocated to Abuja, the nation’s capital for fear of attack by Al-Makura’s supporters.
