Sports We are not interested: Keshi should look for a job elsewhere- Ghana FA

The Ghana Football Association have informed Stephen Keshi to look elsewhere for a new job as he has not been shortlisted by the FA.

Reports emerged on Monday that Keshi had entered the fray to coach the Black Stars of Ghana, with 52-year old saying that he would love to manage them.

But the Ghana Football Association(GFA) have distanced themselves from any ties with Keshi, saying that they have already made their final shortlists for the job.

"Unfortunately, we are not considering any other names and so Stephen Keshi - who we respect a lot - will not be able to make it," GFA vice president Fred Crenstil told supersport.com.

He further added: "We opened a window for applications and it's been closed for sometime now. We've even shortlisted and interviewed three coaches and we are in the last stages of sending a report to the FA Executive Committee."

Kwesi Appiah last month resigned from his post by mutual consent, with the GFA shortlisting some foreign coaches to replace him.

The three shortlisted coaches are: Michel Pont, Juan Ignacio Martinez and former Chelsea coach man Avram Grant .
