Newly elected president of the Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) Amaju Pinnick has called for support to move the country's football forward.
Pinnick on Tuesday emerged as the new leader of Nigerian football and he has now taken over NFF's presidency from Aminu Maigari.
However,Pinnick said that the new board will capitalise on the gains of the past board to help improve on the fortunes of Nigerian football.
"First we are very thankful to Nigerians for this opportunity to serve. We will try as a board in redefining gains of the out gone board," Pinnick told Supersports.com
“We cannot do it alone. We ask for the support of all Nigerians and stakeholders as we move into a new and successful era for our football,” he said.
