2. EFCC Raids Obanikoro's House; Vital Documents and Valuables Seized
The house of Nigeria's Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, was on Tuesday raided by operatives of the EFCC. The house is located at Layi Ajayi Bembe Street in Parkview Estate, Ikoyi.

6. Super Eagles Star, Ogenyi Onazi Weds in Benin
Super Eagles assistant captain, Ogenyi Eddy Onazi has tied the nuptial knot with his long time girl friend, Sandra Ogunsuyi. The traditional wedding took place in the ancient city of Benin, the Edo State capital on Thursday, June 16.

7. Nigerian Producer OJB Jezreel Is Dead
Popular Nigerian Music producer, Babatunde Okungbowa aka OJB Jezreel is dead. Reports have it that his kidney transplant failed completely since last week and his family had to keep him on N35k dialysis to overcome the relapse.

8. Ex-Adamawa Governor Lands in EFCC Detention
The immediate past governor of Adamawa State, Bala Ngillari, has been detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for his alleged role in the distribution of N450 million for the re-election of former President Goodluck Jonathan.

9. Nigerian Senate Passes 13 Bills For Second Reading in 7 Minutes
Nigerian Senate under the leadership of Dr. Bukola Saraki on Tuesday, June 14, began consideration to alter the 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, passing 13 bills for second reading in seven minutes.

10. United States Bars Nigerian Lawmakers From Entering the Country Over Sex Scandal
The United States government has formally cancelled its visas from the three Nigerian lawmakers accused of sex scandal, an indication that they had been barred from future trips to the United States. The affected members include: Mr. Mohammed Garba-Gololo (Bauchi State); Mr. Terse Gbillah (Benue State), and Mr. Samuel Ikon (Cross River State).
