National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), John Odigie-Oyegun, has accused the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of collusion to rig APC out of the Ekiti governorship election coming up on Saturday.
He particularly accused the PDP of committing electoral fraud by thump printing ballots ahead of the Saturday poll, with a view to stuffing the ballot box and getting declared as winner of the election at all cost.
He, therefore, warned that APC would not accept the result of the election if PDP is declared winner in weird circumstances.
Oyegun spoke on Wednesday at the inauguration of the new executive committee of the APC at Sheraton Hotel, Abuja.
But the PDP fired back swiftly, saying the allegation by the APC was “a process of laying a foundation for mayhem during the governorship election coming up on Saturday”.
Regardless, Oyegun warned that trouble looms in the country if the alleged PDP’s plans were not put off.
