Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP held a private meeting with former President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday night.
Rivers state Governor,Nyesom Wike who is one of the most vocal opposition leaders in the country was absent from the meeting.
According to The Nation, governors that attended the meeting included Seriake Dickson (Bayelsa); Ibrahim Dankwabo (Gombe); Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta); Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia); Dave Umahi (Ebonyi); Benedict Ayade (Cross River); Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom); Darius Ishaku (Taraba); Ayo Fayose (Ekiti); and the Deputy Governor of Rivers state, Ipalibo Banigo.
The meeting, which started a few minutes after 6pm, was held at the office of the former President located at Maitama District. It ended at exactly 10.07pm.
