When you talk about Social Media sites, most people will quickly think about Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. Of course, those appear to be the most popular but there are quite more than those four. Social Media sites are created for different purposes; some for fun, others for business and other engagements. Most business owners now depend on the Social Media for profitable gains, as it provides a constant and steady flow of web traffic, which is the lifeline of every modern business.
The number of social media turning up these days is on the rise; however, these are the world’s Top 15.

Facebook hardly needs any introduction. It’s currently the world’s most popular and sophisticated social media. It was launched in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg in collaboration with his Harvard college roommates, and has since grown to become the world’s largest social media. Facebook trumps Google in terms of global web traffic and presence. Facebook is currently ranked as number 2 on Amazon’s Alex with over 900million unique monthly visitors.
