World Cup qualifier: Malawi FA denies considering pulling out

The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has refuted suggestions that they are set to boycott the 2014 World Cup qualifier against Nigeria,owing to a paucity of funds.
There were claims that Malawi was considering pulling out of the game next week,because they don’t have sufficient money to prosecute the game.
But the Director of Marketing for FAM, Jasper Jangare on Thursday assured that they will be in Nigeria for the game.
“Don’t worry about the media report, Malawi will be there in Calabar next week Wednesday to play Nigeria and ever since the football association has never failed to honour a match especially as this tie is a very important one and Nigerians think this one will be a work over or that Malawi will not show up but we will come in full force to beat Nigeria at their backyard” Jangare said on Brila FM.
It is understood that the Malawians will touch down in Nigeria on September 4,before proceeding to Calabar for the game on September 7.
