World World Economic Forum begins in Abuja on May 7-9

The global players in the business community will meet in Nigeria’s capital, Abuja for the World Economic Forum which will be starting from May 7 to 9, 2014.

The 24th edition of the Economic Forum will be hosted at the Transcorp Hilton hotel in Abuja with the theme, Forging Inclusive Growth, Creating Jobs.

The forum which will have Nigerian Co-ordinating Minister for the Economy and Honourable Minister of Finance – Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, CFR is organised to discuss the unemployment issues in Africa and most especially Nigeria where its unemployment still ranks at about 54%.

Also, Director and Head of Africa, World Economic Forum (WEF) – Elsie Kanza
and many more will be in attendance to discuss and proffer solutions to economic issues and also improve on the employment statistic in Nigeria and Africa.
The WEF is a non-profit independent international organization tasked with the responsibilities of promoting and facilitating multi-stakeholder dialogue and partnerships around key issues and topics with the potential to impact growth and development prospects and strengthen the competitiveness of nations.
