The war of words between the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and the Governor of Rivers State, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, seems not to be over as the minister has described the latest call for her probe by the governor as a campaign of falsehood against her person.

Amaechi had called on the House of Representatives to probe the Minister of Finance and Minister of Water Resources, Stella Ochekpe over the alleged seizure of the World Bank and African Development Bank loans approved by the National Assembly for the state.

@Jules when Amaechi was in PDP and everything was good,he never talked this much. Is he sure AFDB has release such funds because we all know AFDB is responsible for African Countries and I can imagine the millions of loans they would be processing. FG is already under a lot of pressure, he shouldnt add more.

Besides he has JET right, he should forgo luxury for the comfort of his state since he really cares Rivers

they said the jet is not luxury, it's a necessity. that aside, loan for water? What are the multinationals in rivers state contributing to community development?

True, but this water issue should be fixed by the state, not the multinationals at the end of the day, Amaechis tantrums all boils down to APC vs PDP.
