Jigawa state Governor, Sule Lamido has spoken up in defense of Aminu Tambuwal, speaker of the House of Representatives who was recently tagged ''a traitor and mole within the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP" by former senate President Ameh Ebute.
During an interview with Saturday Sun, Lamido tagged Ebute " the biggest traitor to Nigeria’s democracy". He said the former senate president was a willing tool in the hands of the military to truncate the country’s democracy, after the June 12, 1993 elections.
