30 year old counselor Arinze Ifeanyi John who claims to be an alumnus of Bolton University in the UK was arrested during the weekend when 2.120kg of methamphetamine was found in his possession. He was nabbed during the screening of passengers on a Virgin Atlantic flight to London.
Four parcels containing substances which tested positive to the presence of methamphetamine were found carefully concealed in hidden apartments of Arinze’s luggage.
Arinze confessed to the crime during interrogation, stating that he was given the bag by a friend who bought his return ticket.
Arinze holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Madonna University, Anambra and a Master’s degree in International Business at Bolton University and had been living in the UK before returning to Nigeria in June.
