Education has been proved to be and holds the key to life and Zimbabwe`s very own President Robert Mugabe tops as the most educated President the World has ever seen.

Mugabe also has a very high literacy rate, one of Zimbabwe`s pride.

Love or hate Mugabe, let face the facts and let them be told, a lot of people envy him.

Mugabe is a qualified teacher, he has a qualification in Economics, he is a lawyer, he has master of laws from the University of London’s external programme, he obtained a BA degree in 1951 from Fort Hare University in South Africa, amongst other qualifications.

At 90 Mugabe leads Zimbabwe, he still has a spring in his stride, he is very eloquent. Coming to the English language the man speaks the Queen`s language better than the rest of the World.

Dictator, thug, thief, murderer, ruthless, demented, ferocious, the most dangerous person, destroyer, wife snatcher, die hard, diamond thief, selfish are some of the words used to describe the man.

The world should learn from him before he dies otherwise he will take his secret to the grave.

Other facts of life to learn from Mugabe are one should eat healthy food and stay away from junk, engage in sports and stay away from women, that`s why Mugabe stands tall and alive at 90 while 30 year olds are dying from AIDS.

He's not even a Dr. He's just a jack of all trade, master of none. Oh wait. He's got a masters in Economics. Pfft.

This is pathetic. It's a total waste of money, time and life. I don't envy him at all. I only see someone who is confused and doesn't know what he's doing.

@Samguine @yusuf Oyebanjo Mugabe's a case of wasted education. He's done nothing with his degrees. He probably slept through 'em all.
For all his "education", Mugabe acts like an illiterate. He behaves in a funny way. You attack US today and tomorrow you beg them for assistance. Why not be diplomatic and get what you want (for the good of your country) with fake smiles and forced laughs? I thought education helps one think. Mugabe is the opposite. His education is a waste of time. How is his education helping his country out of its terrible economic condition?
It just irks me to see someone waste a lot on education and do nothing with it while there are people all over the world searching for money in order to go to school.
You can say I'm hating, but that's your opinion and you're totally entitled to it.

Master of all trades, Not even a Dr., Dictator, thug, thief, murderer, ruthless, demented, ferocious, the most dangerous person, destroyer, wife snatcher, die hard, diamond thief, selfish are some of the words used to describe the man.

Lets celebrate him before he's no more!

That, there. That's the CV of a drug smuggler. A lousy one at that.

There's no need to celebrate him, he should just pack his bags and leave. Let another person rule, someone with a plan to end the suffering of the people.

History is a wonderful subject. We should find out more about Mugabe's fight for independence and also why he went rogue as they say with the land issues in Zimbabwe. It is important to find out what Zimbabwe was like before and after independence.

He might've been an activist in his youth, but it doesn't change the fact that he's a jack of all trade, master of none. Instead of trying to do everything by himself, he should delegate. You don't need degrees from Economics, law and administration in order to run things correctly.

Hoe are you sure he is not delegating.. not everything CNN says is true. There are sanctions against the country as punishment for the lack of democracy and the human rights issues. Let us look at other countries with the same issues.. Saudi? China? Egypt? There are many more

  1. Bachelor of Arts (History and English) (BA) degree from the University of Fort Hare (1951). *this is his true choice, the other degrees are wasted degrees*

Mugabe is the Zimbabwean version of Aregbesola.

Let us look at other countries with the same issues.. Saudi? China? Egypt? There are many more

What's the similarity between Zimbabwe and these countries? It's clear to see that they fare better.

Fare better... so it is the end that justifies the means? Zimbabwe is in trouble because of the sanctions... and the sanctions are there because of accusations of human rights abuses and the allegations about the non democratic nature of the government. This is not about management of resources but the castration of the nation by the powers that be

So you think there's nothing he could've done do to make his country a better place instead of getting degrees from educational institutes all around the continent?

Important that people read up on the land dispute issues in Zimbabwe. The degrees you mentioned were given when the country was prospering under him and he did not have an issue with the powers that be
