A video circulating online features a middle-aged man claiming to be the son of Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife. Clad in traditional attire, the man alleges that the monarch concealed his identity and upbringing.

The palace swiftly refuted the claims, denouncing him as an impostor. The man insists on his lineage, demanding recognition and threatening to divulge further details if not invited to the palace within two months.

In response, the Ooni's spokesman, Moses Olafare, asserts that the alleged prince is unknown to the palace and emphasizes the monarch's commitment to his children and tradition. Security agencies have been alerted to the matter, with the palace warning against deceptive acts that tarnish the Yoruba cultural heritage.
