It was yet another day for 1-1 draws which was the scoreline recorded in all the two games played in group D of the ongoing 2015 African Nations Cup tournament in Equatorial Guinea.

The four teams in the group all shared the spoils, with all of them pegged at one point each after their first games.

Ten-man Ivory Coast had to come from a goal down to secure a hard fought 1-1 draw in their game against Guinea.

Guinea led for majority of the game and clearly ruffled the Ivory Coast team filled with big name players in their ranks .

Mohamed Yattara thumping effort opened the scores for the Guineans in the 36 minute as they held their own.

It got worse for Ivory Coast after Gervinho was sent off for raising his hand against an opponent.

However the Elephants found a way and came back in the game, Herve Renard's substitution paid off as his team levelled.

Wilfried Bony laid off a nice pass for Seydou Doumbia to equalise and draw them level in the game.

Ivory Coast would be delighted to have gotten something out of the game, although they came into the fixture as favourites.

Meanwhile Cameroon and Mali also settled for a draw in their own game in the same group.

Much of the game's build-up was centered on Seydou Keita who was making his 100th appearance for Mali. It was an epoch making event for the AS Roma midfielder as he became his country's all-time most capped player.

Both teams played out a drab 0-0 first half with the two goals in the match coming in the second half.

Sambou Yatabaré opened the scores in the 71st minute, but Cameroon left it late until the 84th minute that Cameroon found an equaliser through Ambroise Oyongo.
