Former Lagos State Commissioner of Police (CP), Abubakar Tsav, said that the removal of Alhaji Umar Fintiri as Acting Governor of Adamawa state by a Federal High court has rekindled the hope of Nigerians in the judiciary.
Tsav told newsmen on Thursday that the removal of Fintiri and swearing-in of Murtala Nyako’s former deputy, Bala Ngilari, showed the judiciary as an unbiased umpire.
He said the removal of Fintiri would serve as lesson to politicians who believed that elevation in politics could only be achieved through acts of betrayal and treachery.
Tsav advised politicians not to throw overboard, moral values and decency in the conduct of their affairs.
The former police boss, who said that the court paid Fintiri in his own coins, advised upcoming politicians against being too ambitious.
