There are reports that a large explosion happened a few minutes ago in Abuja's #Nyanya axis.

While it is right now unconfirmed whether the explosion is a bomb blast, a resident in the area who spoke with #Abusidiqu said the blast happened close to the area where the last motor park explosion on April 14th happened.

The extent of damage cannot be confirmed yet and the number of casualties is unclear as the landscape is in pandemonium.

Details to come in as they are verified...

Update:

Eye witnesses say it is a bomb, and that there are charred bodies on the ground.

This government continues to waste the lives of Nigerians but most Nigerians seem to keep hoping that somehow God will stop them when God is waiting for you to do something about it: he has given Nigeria resources to buy and make anything they need to solve their problems, enlist the help of reliable friends in the international community, resources to educate the people, a constitution that allows the president of the country to speak with any local leaders and rulers in affected areas to begin to find real solutions on the spot, an opportunity to speak to the leadership of Niger and Cameroun to enact solid counter-measures, the resources to by now have cameras lining up the entire national boundary of the country to see who is going and out, but what are Nigerians doing? Still waiting on God to come down and solve the problems he has given as your own job to do??[\quote]

UPDATE:

No casualty had been reported yet but rescue operations were going on by security agents and relevant authorities.

More Details:

A thick smoke bellowed out from the scene of the explosion, which was close to the Nyanya bus terminus where a similar incident happened on April
14.

Some residents said they heard a loud sound from an explosion which sent jitters into them as many scampered for safety.
