The All Progressives Congress, APC , Ebonyi chapter has called for the impeachment of the state Governor, Martin Elechi; Daily Independent reported.
Addressing newsmen, APC Ebonyi secretary Bernard Ebele, cited the crisis rocking the State assembly as one of the reasons the governor should be impeached.
He said, "The members of Ebonyi State House of Assembly should stop victimising themselves and come together to enact laws that would move Ebonyi State forward. The most eligible person to be impeached is the governor of Ebonyi State.
"The axe of impeachment should descend on Elechi for incompetence, gross misconduct, reckless borrowing, loss of focus and abysmal performance", the APC Chieftain said.
According to Ebele, Elechi was yet to complete a single project he started.
"Ochudo City is yet to be completed. International Market is yet to be completed, likewise Oferekpe Water Scheme".
