Flying Eagles head coach, Manu Garba has described the group that the Nigerian U-20 team falls, ahead of the 2015 U-20 African Youth Championship in Senegal, saying it is the group of death
Nigeria have been grouped alongside Senegal, Ivory Coast and Congo in Group A and the former Flying Eagles coach said that it is an ‘interesting group’.
"It’s an interesting group in the sense that Senegal and Ivory Coast are good footballing countries and Congo is also a good team and Nigeria at this level is always the team to beat" he told footballlive.ng
"For me this is the group of death but we’re expected to come up against any team because we believe, to be the best you must beat the best and it’s not just a cliché."
