Metro Boko Haram attack on Yorubaland is ‘declaration of war,’ Afenifere warns- Premium Times

The Afenifere Renewal Group, ARG, a Yoruba socio-political group, has warned that any terror attack on Yoruba soil by the Boko Haram insurgents would be regarded as an act of war.

In a statement signed by its National Chairman, Olawale Oshun, on Monday, the group said that although they are a peace-loving people, the Yoruba would retaliate if they were attacked.

Reacting to the recent video the Boko Haram group released to the AFP wherein they claimed to be “in your city and you don’t know where we are;” Mr. Oshun called on all residents of South-West to be vigilant.

Declaration of war against whom?....i'm guessing Northern Nigeria. A lot people don't see boko haram as a 'Nigerian' problem. It's is popularly regarded as a political tool designed to wrest power at all cost
