Mallam Isyaku Bello,Principal of the Government College, Katsina has allegedly gottent death threats from unnamed persons shortly after releasing Gen. Muhammadu Buhari’s 1961 West African School Certificate (WASC) statement of result; THE NATION reports.
Mallam Bello was allegedly summoned by his employers, the Katsina State Ministry of Education, in connection with the release of the results. Also, unnamed sources claim he has been making distress calls to his friends and relatives.
''Some forces were unhappy with the issuance of results to Gen. Buhari and they have been threatening the principal. They have been calling him names, abusing him. Some were actually threatening to deal with him'', one of the sources said.
Also, a highly-placed source in All Progressives Congress,APC Presidential Campaign Council confirmed the threats.
However, the Kastina state government has denied having knowledge of the principal's claims.
