According to The Nation, David Mark is reportedly planning to return to his seat as senate president, PDP's defeat regardless.
Despite PDP's only winningg 45 seats (as against APC's 64), Mark is very optimistic about his chances.
His chance stems from the likelihood that APC will zone the senate presidency to the North Central, where he hails from.
"He will subsequently penetrate and divide the APC senators, and then win to his side some of them who will vote for him along with the 45 PDP senators," says the paper.
This plan, we read, is David Mark's part to play in the resurgence of the PDP by 2019.
"A massive war chest of N10billion is allegedly being readied for the battle for the Senate Presidency, sources said."
