Alhaji Kabir Danbaba, the Emir of Gusau, Zamfara state, is dead.
The Zamfara state commissioner for Information, Ibrahim Magaji stated that Alhaji Danbaba died today at a private hospital in Abuja. He succumbed to a protracted illness.
Danbaba is survived by his wives, 37 children and his grandchildren.
