Goal has released the the top 20 wealthiest footballer in the world of football, and Portugal and Real Madrid star, Cristiano Ronaldo rank tops with net worth of 210 million Euros.
Goal Rich List is showcasing the top 20 wealthy footballers which includes their net worth based on salary, endorsements and assets, as well as taking outside business interests into consideration.
The Real Madrid star, 30, also topped the list in 2014 but has bolstered his position over the last 12 months to emerge €10 million ahead of second-placed Lionel Messi with an overall personal wealth of €210m.
Ronaldo has increased his wealth substantially, thanks largely to having collected bonuses for helping Real Madrid to the Champions League and Club World Cup crowns. He also received a sum for winning the 2014 Ballon d’Or.
Argentina and Barcelona star, Lionel Messi comes next on the list with an estimated value of 200 million Euros, ten million short of his counterpart at Real Madrid.
Brazillian Neymay is third on the list with a net-worth one hundred and thirty five Euros followed by Zlatan Ibrahimovic thirty-million Euros less than Neymar's estimated amount.
Manchester United's Wayne Rooney is 5th on the Goal top 20 richest players list and he's worth one hundred three million Euros.
