Politics Goodbye PDP: Rebel Governors Officially Join APC

The G7 governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have officially decamped to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to PUNCH, Alhaji Abubakar Baraje, former acting chairman of the PDP, announced the new development after a meeting between the G7 and APC chieftains.

5 G7 governors were present at the meeting, they include :Rotimi Amaechi (Rivers), Rabiu Kwankwanso (Kano), Murtala Nyako(Adamawa), Badulfatah Ahmed (kwara) and Dr. Babangida Aliyu(Niger).

Sule Lamido and Aliyu Wamakko of Jigawa and Sokoto states respectively were absent.

He cannot be president under APC so his only hope is PDP and that is pretty much 'no hope'
