According to Sahara Reporters, President Jonathan is using his inner circle to 'jettison' the elections totally.
According to the online journal, the President may use members of the National Assembly to postpone the polls and settle for an 'interim national government.'

It also says that the key players in this 'scheme' are: Mr. Jonathan, Petroleum Minister Diezani Alison-Madueke, the chairman of the PDP’s board of trustees, Tony Anenih, Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko and Ijaw political figure, Edwin Clark.
