Details have emerged of how Nigeria's former coach, Stephen Keshi, died.
54-year-old Keshi had died early on Wednesday in Benin, the capital of Edo State, six months after his wife, Kate, died of cancer in the United States.
Close family sources say Keshi complained of being unwell just before midnight on Tuesday and he was found to be gasping for breath.
He was rushed to Faith Hospital in the Benin Government Reservation Area. He died around 00.30 in the morning. The cause of death was a heart attack, reports say.
His body has been deposited at the Central Hospital in the city.
It's believed that he was scheduled to return to the United States on Wednesday evening.
