In an interview with the Daily Independent newspaper, Dr. Ibrahim Yakubu #Lame, former Minister of Police Affairs and now governorship aspirant for #Bauchi state under #APC, speaks on the recent inauguration of APC's State Executives and on the need for the creation of state police.

Speaking on the need for state police (despite its not being supported by the constitution), Dr. Lame said, "I believe in creating a state police. Look at what is happening in the North-East; if we had state police in the North-East, I’m telling you, the problem of insurgency wouldn’t have been at the level it is today."
