Resident Electoral Commissioners,RECs of the Independent National Electoral Commission may cast a vote of no confidence on Prof Attahiru Jega, Chairman this Wednesday; PUNCH reports.

Jega and the RECs are scheduled to meet this Wednesday. During the meeting, the RECs who are in support of moves to remove Jega will make a major move by passing a vote of no confidence on the INEC Chairman.

A top member of INEC who spoke to PUNCH anonymously said, ''The meeting on Wednesday is most likely to be stormy. I say this because some resident commissioners are plotting to move against our chairman. They may pass a no confidence vote in him. But the chairman enjoys strong backing in the commission. Any plan to pass a vote of no confidence in him will not work''.

Vote of confidence or not, the Nigerian Professors have subjected their academic prowess to a ridiculous political brigandage. The intellectuals have sold their pride to the stupendous political class of Fayose's standard. He wont be removed in view of the political circumstance that Nigeria has been made a laughing stock. The world powers would rescue Nigeria by a way of indirect recolonization. good riddance to bad rubbish.
My sympathy is to Nigerian down trodden voters that would suffer massively for any postponement or cancellation. It may throw Nigeria into a very likely unpalatable end, God forbid that.
Vote wisely, vote change, vote APC, vote Buhari and not bad governance.
What has Jega done wrong?
