Nigeria - President Goodluck Jonathan has offered automatic jobs and scholarships to 164 recipients of the Presidential NYSC Honours Awards.
According to Daily Trust, Jonathan said this on Monday at the award ceremony held at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, for combined 2012, 2013 and 2014 president's NYSC honours awards.
Nine disabled past corps members also got a total sum of N23.5 million; N13.5m from Heritage Bank, N5m from Akwa Ibom State Governor Godswill Akpabio and N5m from Ibeto Group, for one of the disabled corps member who could not attend the event owing to her critical condition.
