Sahara Reporters has procured a charge sheet prepared by Mohammed Bello Adoke, the Attorney General of Nigeria. The charge sheet was to charge the former Lagos state governor, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, with perjury.

Four documents were attached to the charges, including:
- Mr. Tinubu's INEC form
- A letter declaring that Tinubu didn't actually attend Chicago State University (procured from Jennifer Dent, an FBI agent.)

The charges declared that Mr. Tinubu perjured himself with the claim that he attended Government College in Ibadan between 1965 and 1968, when he actually didn't. A list of students who graduated from the college was attached to the charge sheet, and Tinubu's name was glaringly missing.

According to Sahara Reporters, these charges would have nailed Tinubu's coffin, but he struck a deal with President Jonathan to work against his own party - the then ACN - and deliver South-west states to Jonathan in the 2011 elections. Apparently, this was why the ACN candidate, Nuhu Ribadu, lost in all South-west states except in Osun.

It will be remembered that Olusegun Obasanjo in his book 'My Watch' said President Jonathan had bribed Tinubu with large amounts of cash to get him to work for him. So far, Tinubu is yet to deny the allegations.
