LMC issues NFF N25m allegiance fee

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have been paid the sum of N25m by the League Management Company(LMC) of the Nigeria Professional Football League,as the 5% agreement of the sponsorship fee for the Nigerian league.
Chairman of the LMC,Ndukar Irabor on Monday in Abuja,presented the NFF President,Aminu Maigari with a N25m cheque,adding that it was to show allegiance to the Federation.
“What we have come to do here is to actually make public our intent to make the Nigeria Professional Football League more prosperous,” Irabor told reporters.
“The NFF remains our parent body.
“That allegiance, even as we do in some of our villages necessitates in modern business what we call “license fee’’.
“This is to underline the allegiance we have to the NFF.
“It is a symbol of what we have deposited in their treasury which is N25 million being five percent of our earning so far,’’ Irabor added.
Expressing his delight,NFF President,Maigari was happy with the presentation of the money adding that it was timely,and also praised the efforts of the LMC in changing the league.
“We are proud of you as a team and also as individuals. We gave you this appointment and we never regretted it for a day.”
“We are so happy you have redeemed your promise and what you said you will do to the NFF.
“Like you said football is money; football is business there is nowhere in the world that football is run without money,”Maigari added.
